    "We've lived here for four years and everyone is SO welcoming. There's a real pride in feeling like we have 'the best neighborhood in Durham'. We also like that the houses are not on top of each other so close, as in newer developments... each house has a little more privacy. Neighbors generally know everyone near their house, and you get to know the more active neighbors from anywhere in Trotter Ridge, most by name. We also have several neighborhood-wide events each year, and a fun community newsletter. "
