8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur twins were part of the Dual Language program for their entire K-5 experience. They loved going to school, and their teachers. They got to participate in extra curricular activities like the Scholastic Book Fair, Science Extravaganza, Holiday Parade, and the Girls on the Run program. They had fantastic experiences with all their DL and Specials teachers, they loved that so many of their grade teachers were from Colombia. Our twins were also part of the AIG program at the school and have become avid readers.Parent Review2y ago10 Reviews - Emerson Waldorf School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEmerson Waldorf School has become something truly close to our hearts, not just a school our children attend, but a place that feels like a second home for our family. As a parent of a first grader and a third grader, I get to witness two very different but equally beautiful journeys unfolding at the same time. My first grader comes home still carrying that magical early childhood glow—singing little songs, retelling stories with wide eyes, and showing me how learning can begin in wonder rather than pressure. My third grader is stepping into a new kind of confidence—more grounded, more curious, and beginning to see themselves as capable and responsible in the world, yet still deeply connected to imagination and creativity. What I personally love most is the rhythm of life EWS creates. It’s not just what is taught, but how life is lived during the school day. There is a calmness in the mornings, the warmth of the classroom atmosphere, the beauty of seasonal stories and festivals that shape the year in a meaningful way. My children come home with hands full of little handmade treasures, dirt on their clothes from outdoor play, and hearts full of stories I would have never heard otherwise.I feel deeply grateful for the teachers. There is a quiet devotion in the way they speak to children, guide them, and truly see them. I’ve seen how both of my children are held with patience and understanding, not rushed, not compared, but met exactly where they are.For our family, Emerson Waldorf School is not just about academics—it is about childhood being honored. It is about imagination being protected. It is about learning feeling alive. And as a parent, there is something very special about knowing your children are growing in a place where they are truly seen, gently guided, and lovingly supported. We can't be happier!Parent Review2mo ago21 Reviews
