Terrible principal. Only has his interest at heart. If you don’t know somebody and your child is bullied you better just forget it because they’re not gonna be backed up. If you are an important person in their society or you’re a teacher, whose child goes there then you’re golden. Otherwise, you have no back up.

It has been an excellent experience for my son in 8th grade. Even the students who have known each other for years welcomed him nicely and he integrated into the school very quickly! He transferred from a very large middle school in FL and ended up in a very small middle school at Hardin Park and despite all this, he was very well welcomed and his teachers have been so nice and kind to him. He is having a great year and is receiving excellent academics I can tell. We could not be happier for him.

We can’t say enough great things about Valle Crucis School. Our kids have been there for 6 years and don’t want it to end. The building is beautiful but most importantly the culture is focused on kindness, respect, and integrity! From the teachers, bus drivers, cafeteria staff, to the very top (ie Dr Smith the principal), the collective staff of VCS go above and beyond to encourage and inspire the kids. I highly highly recommend it!

Very caring school and teachers. The families and teachers together create a wonderful community for learning.
