10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had two children attend Olive Chapel so far and they are both thriving! The teachers are professional, caring, and dedicated to their craft! We have always received excellent communication from our children's teachers about what they are learning as well as how they are being supported in the classroom. Additionally, the administration does an amazing job being transparent and open to parent ideas and any concerns! It is evident the school community cares for students and are invested in their success! We are incredibly pleased with the education are children are receiving at Olive Chapel and recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a high-quality, warm, and fun atmosphere for their family!Parent Review9mo ago35 Reviews - St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Scotts Ridge from 3rd grade to 5th grade and my experience was horrible, I was in a dark place. (I know it sounds crazy for someone that young, but just listen.) I say my experience was horrible simply because of MY actions, I was supported the entire time by the staff, even though I was a handful. Please send your child here, they will learn very valuable lessons, and enjoy their time. Please do not take my "horrible experience" as an experience because of the staff, I loved my teachers, and the curriculum was iffy, but I got through it. I am now an 8th grader, and am living my best life. Thank you.Other Review1y ago2 Reviews - Apex Friendship Elementary

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family’s experience with the IEP process at Apex Friendship Elementary School was extremely disappointing and heartbreaking. My child has documented developmental and academic challenges, yet after going through the evaluation and IEP process, the school ultimately denied all special education services and support. As a parent, it was incredibly painful to watch my child struggle while feeling repeatedly dismissed throughout the process. Instead of feeling supported, I often felt like I had to constantly fight to have my concerns taken seriously. Communication was inconsistent, meetings felt procedural rather than compassionate, and the process seemed more focused on finding reasons to deny services than understanding my child’s actual needs.Despite clear concerns involving academics, development, and classroom functioning, the school concluded that my child did not qualify for support. This decision left our family shocked, discouraged, and emotionally exhausted. For parents going through the IEP process for the first time, it can feel overwhelming and isolating, especially when the school system appears resistant to providing help.I understand schools must follow eligibility guidelines, but families also deserve transparency, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting children who are struggling. Unfortunately, our experience at Apex Friendship Elementary did not feel collaborative or child-centered.I hope the school and district improve how they work with families of children with disabilities and place greater emphasis on listening to parents and supporting students before they fall further behind.Parent Review1mo ago2 Reviews
