My daughter was in the elementary class. The kids were friendly, but the school has a lot of problems. There is one state certified teacher associated with the school, but she's only in an advisory role, and rarely there. The other teachers don't have teaching degrees and aren't state certified. The quality of the education is very low. They do a math lesson once a week. My daughter says that some of the 6th grade students don't even know their multiplication facts. They sometimes have "lessons" with the teacher on different things but only 1-2 per week, and they are disjointed and not connected. Lessons are not graded. They say they give feedback to the students, but my daughter says most things just get turned in and she never sees it again. A few times they gave her feedback on her math work, and the teachers made simple mistakes on things like order of operations. They say they're "project based" but a "project" is something like "write 3 facts about dinosaurs", which is not appropriate for a 4th grade student.I don't feel my daughter learned anything from this school, and I will not be sending her back next year. I know other parents who agree and also declined to re-enroll. I teach her at home, so I think she can transition to public school with no issues, but I doubt most want to do this The director and teachers promise a lot of great things, but at least for my family, they don't deliver. If you want a low hassle school where your kids won't have any homework or studying, this might be suitable, but it you care about your kids education, I won't send them here.
