"I've lived in this area for over 10 years and I have seen the progress, clean up and expansion of the neighborhoods and businesses. At the beginning there were issues with car break ins but has decreased due to police driving through neighborhoods keeping an eye on the community... Thank You for that!.. "

"It’s ok - some issues like car break ins and police activity. But a cute neighborhood otherwise. I really hope it continues to be restored and businesses thrive more"

"Plenty of sidewalks and other people with pets. People are generally pet-friendly in the CWE as long as you keep your dog in a leash and clean up after them. "

"Really honestly it’s just amazing and there are so many restaurants you can go to and if you ever just feel like going for a walk it’s safe for that as well. "

"Most businesses are pet friendly and there are always people walking their dogs around. People are friendly in passing and always stop to pick up trash or aide someone who is in some sort of distress "

"For dog owners, it’s very safe to walk them at night. Usually very well lit and police are around every so often. Trash cans available all over for cleaning up after your dog. Only thing that can be an issue is the sidewalks are a bit skinny if you have a dog who maybe isn’t the most dog friendly. I can imagine that would pose a problem as I’ve had to walk in the street to avoid a barking dog more than once. Never had an issue, though. Owners all do a great job of controlling their furry friends. "

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNew City has been a wonderful place for kids to grow and develop for more than 50 years. It has been a leader in multiple intelligence, social-emotional learning and authentic inclusion, while promoting Joyful learning as its bedrock. My son -- who also attended a highly rated secondary school, Brown University and Northwestern Law School -- says unequivocally that New City is the best school he ever attended. The school produces kids who are self confident and ready to face the world with imagination and empathy. As a parent, grandparent and long-time board member, I can recommend New City School wholeheartedly.Parent Review1y ago41 Reviews - Cathedral Basilica School Of St Louis

What a huge and unexpected disappointing experience. It is highly suggested Parents monitor their children closely and spend quality time inside the classroom to see what is really going on may be a good fit here.
