5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Armstrong ExperienceAt Armstrong Elementary, students and families experience a school where relationships come first and high expectations are balanced with care and support. The focus is not only on academic achievement but also on ensuring that every child feels safe, valued, and connected. Staff work intentionally to create an environment where students are encouraged to take ownership of their learning, build positive relationships, and develop the confidence to succeed. The school culture is rooted in the Eagles S.O.A.R. expectations—Safe, Ownership, Acceptance, and Respect—which provide a common language for behavior, responsibility, and belonging. Students know that adults care about them, celebrate their successes, and support them through challenges. The Armstrong CommunityThe Armstrong community is welcoming, resilient, and family-centered. Families are viewed as partners in education, and there is a strong effort to ensure parents feel heard, valued, and involved in their child's educational experience. The community reflects diverse backgrounds and experiences, yet there is a shared commitment to helping children succeed.Partnerships with families, community organizations, and local businesses help extend opportunities for students beyond the classroom. Whether through attendance celebrations, family engagement events, community partnerships, or student recognition programs, Armstrong strives to create a sense of belonging for everyone who walks through its doors. What It's Like in the ClassroomAn Armstrong classroom is a place where students are actively engaged in learning and where teachers build meaningful relationships with their students. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a great elementary school. Very safe and the staff really care about the children. They are on time with other schools about what they teach. I have had a few children attend this school. Never had a problem ever.Parent Review2y ago10 Reviews - Russell Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible! Do your research before you send your child here! Unsafe, they do not protect your child from other kids attacking them. Horrible reviews on safety and acedemics. One of the lowest rated schools in Missouri! They lied about my kid getting hurt. He was bitten, bruised, and scraped. Their response was that he got a rash from falling out of a tree. No one pays attention, they lie and do not notify the parents of anything.Parent Review10mo ago13 Reviews - New Life Christian School
