9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children who attend school here. I have had one negative experience with my youngest's first teacher. I tried to address it but it sounds like the school knows and thats just her. Other than that this school has been awesome. They do so many hands on activities to really encourage a love for learning. Minus that one teacher and a couple of the specials teachers, I have had a great experience with them. My kids are always so excited to go!Parent Review3y ago7 Reviews - Russell Blvd. Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMill Creek is a fantastic school. My child is an advanced reader, but struggles in math. All of his teachers have worked with him on his individual strengths and weaknesses. He was reading chapter books at home and there weren't any in the classroom, so his teacher went out of her way to direct him to appropriate paced literature. When he does math, he spaces out and can't concentrate. He hates it, and all three of his teachers have worked with him on ways to improve, and he has! There is a lot of parent involvement. The parents and teachers are constantly connected which helps keep the kids on track. I feel grateful that we are lucky to be in Mill Creek district. The "overcrowding" has not been a problem for us. The teachers at Mill Creek are all passionate educators that meet the needs of every student. Additionally, most classes have full time aids that team teach. I believe that my child is even better attended to than is completely necessary.Parent Review9y ago8 Reviews - College Park Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy family has had an absolutely amazing experience so far at Bright Start. We moved here from another center when my child turned 3 and have been extremely happy with the change. Being my first child, I am pretty over protective and was nervous about making the move. But I am so glad we did. This is a preschool with a real curriculum and teachers who are actually teaching my son not just a babysitter like most centers. My favorite thing is they are so open about what is going on during the day and not trying to hide things from parents. We are able to view the cameras if we have any questions or concerns which was very impressive to me. We are also given lesson plans and the curriculum and they post pictures and write ups of fun things that happened that day. It makes me feel at ease that I am not there all day with him. And major plus----it is fairly cheap compared to other schools in the area! I would strongly encourage parents to at least check out Bright Start Academy for preschool!Parent Review11y ago1 Reviews - La Petite Ecole
