Pleasantview is a wonderful school. They instill a great value of learning in Kindergarten. Children learn the importance of studying and getting their homework done. Children are expected to be accountable for their actions and are taught this through PATH. My children adore their teachers and that makes me feel good! Teachers are open to communication with parents many different ways. Through email,notes,blogs and they even give you their personal phone numbers on occasion. I especially agree with the WIN time in their curriculum. I like the fact that they are in smaller groups according to their math and reading levels. They also are with other teachers during this time and meet other children too. I am very pleased with Pleasant view!

Both of my children have attended Talahi (since 2009). I understand that there is a lot of "white flight" in my neighborhood, and it is quite disappointing. Talahi teachers are excellent and my kids have had great experiences and have been challenged. Yes, if all you look at is test scores, I can understand some concern. Don't let fear scare you away. Visit our school, meet the teachers, go to a PTA meeting, and you will become part of our Talahi Community. I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else.
