An incident happend with my son regarding a sub. My daughter and another student witnessed what happend and it is a SERIOUS matter. When brought to staffs attention at 9am i didnt recieve a phone call till 7:25pm! She was going 2 get back to me after speaking w/sub. 3 weeks went by and no phone call with other mes left. I cld superintendent. On the last day of school i tt her 4 2min and she assured me school was out so she wld give me her undivided att. the next day when she called. That was last thur and it is now the following wk on wed and no phone call still. Im tired of the staff there ignoring this matter and not addressing it as it should b. 4 weeks and 1 day of no phone call and still counting!

My kids attended this school a few years back and loved it! We are a military family and unfortunately have to relocate every few years and with all of the schools my children have been in all over the U.S., Bayview Elementary ranks as their favorite! The staff is phenomenal, very caring and highly qualified. Our fondest memories were of Bayview Elementary!

My daughter came to the school needing reading supports and ended up being one of the strongest readers in her grade after daily focused support. We were so proud to see her efforts and improvement.I love the feeling at Raleigh, the parents and teachers are all engaged and it feels like a big family. The principal is really kind and positive, and the teachers put a lot of solid content and daily skills practice into their curriculum-- there's lots of cross-classroom collaboration here that's really great to see. There's also a lot of community involvement that ends up being really cute, like seeing the students read to a Shetland pony. They put on concerts in the park (the kids sing the sweetest stuff in the spring) and dances in the gym. At times it gets crowded, but this place has a lot of heart. I'm happy we chose Raleigh.

Never a day goes by that I worry about my child at St. James. I know he is in the best hands with the best teachers and staff available in my area. I have been so impressed with the communication, excellent teaching staff and the amazing growth I have seen in my child. I am not Catholic but chose to send him to a Catholic school because we wanted him to be instilled with respect, good morals, and a caring outlook. That is what he is learning everyday while also receiving an excellent education.
