Things have changed. I wanted to give two stars but since our previous years ha e been really good I gave 3.Mr Peters is gone and the office staff that was trained by our two amazing staffers who retired last year are gone (I am certain there is an interesting story there that's being kept from parents) The teachers are amazing and being run ragged with all the behavior issues as there are 16 or 17 "level 3" students needing constant emergency attention as they "melt down" daily. Our amazing school is dying from the top down.

Terrible and we moved to a school where they truely care about kids and not the test scores, cliques, or paychecks.

Horriable School My son was Bullied there! Principal was very difficult to deal with! Sure if your one of the many $$$$ rich familys there you will be treated diffrently !

I attended this school system from Preschool through High School. It was an incredible experience the whole way through, and helped ready me for college significantly. I am graduating from Hillsdale College this year, and even here I noticed how better prepared I was for this institution than my peers. The in class experience is very engaging and the student to faculty ratio is very low. Teachers are very keen on attendance and will reach out if students are unexpectedly not present. The community is truly what sets this school apart. My teachers and classmates all knew my family, as I did theirs. All extracurricular events are very well attended because of this community.

Both of my children attended The Pathfinder School from pre-K all the way through eighth grade, and I can say without hesitation that it has been one of the greatest gifts of their childhood.What sets Pathfinder apart, above all else, is the depth of care and attention that every teacher and staff member brings to knowing each child as an individual. Year after year, the educators here didn't just teach my kids — they truly understood them: their strengths, their quirks, their needs. That kind of sustained, genuine relationship with a child is rare, and it makes an enormous difference.I'll never forget watching my children in their elementary years literally run to their classrooms each morning, faces lit up with excitement to start the day. The classrooms themselves feel like little cottages nestled in the woods — warm, inviting, and connected to the natural world in a way that feels both intentional and magical. Children spend meaningful time outdoors, have real space for creativity, and engage in project-based learning that makes education feel alive rather than rote.What Pathfinder has achieved — and what I believe is their greatest accomplishment — is keeping children's joy intact throughout the entire school experience. In a world where that joy so often gets squeezed out, Pathfinder nurtures it year after year. Our family feels deeply fortunate to have this school in our community.
