"I've lived in this neighborhood for over 20 years. Great schools. Great neighbors. Always see people out walking the dog. Close to shopping, 295 and downtown. I love this neighborhood."

"Nothing in particular. I find it kinda bland. But some people like that. I'd say it's a pretty boring middle class neighborhoods. Good for families or retirement. "

"Ten minutes or less to practically anything including arts, music, restaurants, bars, fine hotels, shopping. Everything Portland has to offer is moments away from this chic neighborhood filled with young and old alike. Low to no crime. "

Our daughter has been at this school since Kindergarden. They are very diverse and do get many students throughout the year. It is a multilingual /cultural school which shows our young minds the importance of equality in this real world. Some school may not be as diverse or cultural which I think is much more needed in this big evolving world we live in. We need to educate our young minds in this current world and not in the old ways which don't reflect wheat life will be for them and this is what I think Ocean avenue elementary offers our young minds with an IB education base model. They encourage safety , respect , leadership and personal growth. All schools have there issues but for our personal experience this is a very great learning environment for our children.
