Our child has been attending since K and is now entering 8th grade. All of his teachers have been great in communicating about him and have always appreciated their open door policy. We have been pleased with his progress academically, socially and spiritually and commend the relationships that the teachers develop with all the students. Sports have really grown in that there is soccer, basketball, cross country, and girls' softball, developmental baseball & soccer for the little ones. The graduates have gone off to varied universities from USM, UME, UNE, Gordon College, Oral Roberts Univ, Thomas College, Waynesburg Univ-PA., Castleton Colleg-VT, Cedarville Univ (Pharmacy Program), St. Joseph's, etc which shows me the graduates can compete and enter a varied scope of universities. As noted in a prior rating not all the teachers have degrees but the ones that don't each have over 17 years of teaching in the primary grades so I know their experience far outreaches a degree and are excellent teachers that are continually learning how to reach each child.,,,as are all the staff. Young school with eager but many inexperienced staff. Teachers seem to really care about their kids. Current principal much better than original principal. Seems somewhat "clickie" between staff, board, and parents with its margaret murphy connection. Currently grades prek thru 5. 6th to come fall 2020.
