7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has consistently gotten worst in the past few years. Mrs. Nazzaro the principal really does not care anymore. She just wants to collect her paycheck and do the least amount of work possible. The school has a safety issue as my child had been bullied so much and the school keeps telling me they were accidents. Even the pediatrician is concerned with amount of times we have gone to them due to my child getting hurt at school. There is no discipline for the bullies and my child is constantly told that they are accidents and to apologize to the bullies. My child is now in therapy due to experience at this school.Parent Review1y ago5 Reviews - Germantown Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love Seneca Academy and have for the past 7 years we’ve been there. All of our kids go there and we’ve had a really positive experience. The teachers and staff are genuinely caring, they know the kids, encourage them, and make the classrooms feel calm and personal thanks to the small class sizes. The IB approach here actually works for us: kids are encouraged to think globally and be curious. The school has also added solid programs like Singapore Math and RULER from Yale, which we’ve seen make a practical difference in both academics and socio-emotional learning. The school community itself feels welcoming, friendly families, engaged students, and a culture that leans toward kindness. We also appreciate the leadership change. The new head of school has been listening to families and making clear, sensible improvements; it feels like the administration is more responsive and open to feedback now. If you’re thinking about Seneca, go see it in person and talk to the teachers, that’s what convinced us. Overall, we’re grateful for the supportive environment and optimistic about where the school is headed.Parent Review5mo ago14 Reviews - Thomas Jefferson Preparatory School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat an awful school. My child has come home almost every day with a story about how students in her class and on the playground have curses at her, put their hands on her and disrespect her.i could go on and on about how much I dislike this school. Trying to get in communication with administrators is horrible. The other students that go there don’t seem like decent kids. I would definitely think twice before moving to the area if you have children that would attend this school.Parent Review1y ago13 Reviews - Butler School
