Parkside is a small school, compared to some. I have never seen a school that does so much for their students and keeps them so interested in school. Then again, I have never seen so many parents take such an interest in the school and turn out for the programs and anything that goes on in the school. I was very active in my children's PTA and they went to large schools, and there were never that many parents to show up for anything. I am very impressed with what my grandchildren are learning and studing. The active PTA I know helps and they get their support from other parents, but they also get the backing from the teachers and all the staff at the school. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

West Side has been a wonderful place for my kids! This is the second school they have been to in this county and while we had a great experience there, this is definitely a place my kids prefer. My kids' teachers have been tremendously supportive and kind. My kids look forward to going to school each and every day.

My school is Wiley Ford Primary of Wiley Ford, West Virginia. I had two children already complete their education through this school for K-2. Currently have one more child in the 1st grade. This is a wonderful school. The teachers are great with the students and the principal is very easy to talk to and knows how to provide the students/and parents with help to meet their child's full potential. The school is very small but; does a lot for the students to keep them wanting to learn in a fun filled way. I praise this school and all the staff, they are very welcoming to parents and volunteers. I would say this is one of the best primary schools, for its pleasant and knowledgeable staff.

Our family was part of this school for years (my husband and I are both alumni, we have family who have worked here, and all of our children have gone to school here). Teachers and staff are (were) deeply dedicated and Christ-centered. Unfortunately, the leadership of the church that oversees the school showed a consistent unwillingness to listen to valid concerns raised by staff and parents. When serious concerns were brought forward, the response from church leadership was silence, dismissal and, at times, outright hostility. Teachers who faithfully served were disrespected and mentally abused. Parents who advocated for accountability and Christ-centered resolution were labeled as troublemakers "doing Satan's work". Despite repeated attempts to seek peaceful resolution, no effort was made by leadership to engage in any kind of meaningful conversation. In the end, most of the staff resigned and most families decided not to return. A thriving, 50-year ministry in our community has been damaged by those entrusted with it's care. If you are considering this school - take time to learn who is truly leading it.

My children have received the instruction, respect, and discipline necessary to be successful. All children learn differently, and this is a school that supports that. The communication is great if you use the avenues provided, and these are continually improving. I do not hear about even small fights from my son, who had lots of stories to tell from Braddock and Allegany.
