4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 3 kids have been to this school. I think it is one of the worst schools. 2 of my children have ADHD and they kept telling me they would get them help. They would send stuff home for me to fill out about helping them but they never got any help. One year a teacher stood in front of the whole class and called out the grades on a test they took. That is very wrong no child should have to be put on the spot like that. My child was taken out of that school and put in a private school after that. My 7 yrs old goes there now and the things he comes home and says are very horrible and he is hearing it from other children at school. This school need teachers that really care about there students more!!!Other Review10y ago6 Reviews - Claiborne Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA lot of people have come on this site in anger and pointed fingers at people they had unresolved, personal problems with. That does not reflect this school. Others have complained about the school's rules. While some are a bit extreme, everyone is able to read the handbook BEFORE they send their child here. As a former student, I really know what NBS is like. It's small so yes there is drama and there will be people who disagree about how things should be run. My experience was not negative though. The classes are easily passed if the student does their part in contributing to their work. There are no try outs for sports so students can get as involved with their classmates as they wish. No one is left out and everyone can have a friend. Don't send your kid there to find god or to get fixed though because they won't. A lot of the students have bad morals and are never confronted about breaking the rules unless they cause the school problems. It is very partial. But despite the MANY problems, NBS was good for me. I was able to figure out who I am in the less hectic environment where at public school I was lost. If your child needs a change, NBS should be an option.Other Review11y ago6 Reviews
