4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my first time having a bad experience w schools although my son is in kindergarten. First and foremost when first moving into the neighborhood I called to see if this was the proper school for him to attend the office secretary is definitely rude she didn’t want to give me any information barely wanted to talk and rushed me off of the phone saying just come into the school w what I have and talk to the principal because I didn’t have a second form of residency although I had my lease and everything thing else that is needed I dislike how rude the staff can be especially front office personnel as well as women greeting you at the door in the morning when dropping kids off to school, I’ve been told I’m not able to come into the school upon dropping my son off at school in the mornings in which this is a new (larger) school than he is used to as well as a new area for my son so if walking him into school to insure his safety and calming him emotionally to help him feel comfortable that’s what I’m going to do as a parent I don’t linger around I understand this is a school other parents are dropping off as well as he needs to get to class on time my overall experience is ok after you get passed the rudeness of some of the personnelParent Review2y ago12 Reviews - Port Allen Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a student there the people writing these reviews paint the school like it was hell itself. The school wasnt bad some teachers were bad but not all of them. There was not a crushing amount of homework and I never needed help from my parents with it.Other Review4y ago3 Reviews - St James Episcopal Day School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSt. James is an incredible school where I have seen my children grow in mind, body, and spirit. The school was great when we arrived many years ago and unbelievably it has only gotten better with the new administration. This school truly helps each child grow into the best version of themselves in such a kind and loving environment.Parent Review4y ago19 Reviews - Redeeming Life Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent I'm totally discussed with this school. There are drugs, weapons and vulgarity everywhere. Not only does the facility not stop this behavior they also help cover it up. I can't wait for this year to be over so I can take my child to a private school who actually cares for them and isn't just about the all mighty dollar!!!Parent Review12y ago2 Reviews - Vision City
