Let me start by saying that my child has attended Peabody since pre-k. The lower grades are an EXCELLENT start for any child. The teachers are what makes this school so wonderful. However, as my child progressed to older grades, the atmosphere and attitude of teacher/faculty started to dwindle. The powers ahead do not care about how the parent feels nor do they care about working with you OR your child. They will lie to your face and smile. Then turn around and do what you asked them not to or what you guys discussed would not be appropriate. Sometimes, things are NOT at all what they seem. This school would be the case here. I wrote a comment before and it got deleted. This makes me wonder how many other parents have commented and their comments were deleted. Let's see if this one doesn't "DISAPPEAR".

My son attends Rosenthal Elementary as a kindergartener. I could not be more pleased. His teacher ( and the Teacher's aide)keeps me abreast of everything going on with my son, and I feel as if she truly cares.

Great school, teachers, and support staff. You just have to be an involved parent, and the resources are there.

Go back to way y'all was loading buses last year. So dang slow this year, slow slow, no sense in it

My child has attended this school since grade 2 . This is his 5th year. I am struggling to get though it with him. I keep telling him to stick it out. I PRAY that I am not hurting him by insisting that he does stay. In the beginning it was great. The low student teacher ratio was a blessing as my child feels more comfortable like that. After this school decided to join the lottery program it has been all downhill from there. All of the original classmates are gone, more disciplinary problems have arose, the bullying has become part of his everyday life at school. I can honestly say I am counting down the day's until May 22nd......We are looking forward to moving on and wish this school the best.

I have two daughters who have attended this school since second and kindergarten, respectively. They love this school! Every time we have had any difficulty, the teachers and administration has listened to our concerns and tried to make accommodations. Even though my child has an attention problem, she's learning and developing well with the compassionate guidance of the teachers and other caring staff. My girls love receiving a well-rounded education, with art, music, and religion. As Catholics, we are glad to see them learning about their faith, and ways that they can integrate their faith into their daily lives. Beyond the excellent academics and extracurricular activities, the parents, children, and teachers form a wonderful community. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking to invest in their child's future.Sincerely,Happy OLPS mom
