As a parent, I would strongly encourage others to ask a lot of questions before enrolling here.While the school presents itself as Montessori, the experience does not fully align with the core principles many families expect, especially around inclusion, peace education, and exposure to diverse perspectives. The environment leans heavily toward a specific religious (Christian) worldview, which is fine for some, but may not work for families seeking a more balanced or globally aware education.There also appear to be gaps in academic enrichment opportunities, particularly in areas like science, technology, and other 21st-century skills. Compared to other schools, the overall program can feel limited in scope.Accessibility is another concern. In a community like Houma, where many families cannot afford private tuition, there does not seem to be a strong emphasis on making the school available to a broader population, nor addressing the systemic racism which is characteristic of the educational agenda which was racially segregated well into the 1980’s.Additionally, I have concerns about teacher support and retention, which can directly impact the consistency and quality of the classroom experience for students.This school may be a fit for families looking for a small, faith-centered environment. However, for those seeking a well-rounded Montessori education that reflects diversity, critical thinking, and real-world readiness, I would recommend exploring other options.
