Both of my daughters attended this school and there were several teachers who were great. They inspired my daughters, and other students to achieve more and gave them confidence in themselves through recognition and reward. Those teachers showed great interests and devotion.

CBB has equipped my child with great foundation and fundamentals for early childhood education.

An incident happened while my daughter was in class and I didn’t ever hear about it from the staff. When I questioned her teacher she said oh yes the principal was notified. But what does that say to me? Parents have zero say once their child enters the LPE campus. Parents aren’t invited to visit the school passed the main office(with the exception of a few small events that are coordinated in a prison like setting). Parents aren’t welcome to visit for lunch or anything. You don’t get to interact with the staff until the week school starts. Children aren’t allowed to play on playground equipment unless earned and that’s ONCE a MONTH. PreK and K are required to do homework after an 8 hour school day. Overall bad experience and gave concentration camp vibes. Not a fun or inviting atmosphere whatsoever.

I am a retired teacher that taught at Oakshire for the majority of my teaching career. I know first hand of the dedication and love for the children, ensuring they get the best education possible. I was so pleased when my granddaughter started school there. She is in second grade now, and is loving to learn. They have a wonderful parent, or as in my case, grandparent volunteer system, and have so many opportunities for us to visit the class or school for fun activities.

The best school experience we have ever had.

My child does not attend St. Bernadette, but I was interested in sending him there. I interviewed with the principal and met other staff. As a single, black, parent I was very impressed. They expect the best, and so do I. They treated me great! Due to financial reasons my son could not attend. If for not that reason, I guarantee my child would have been there. Excellent school and a humbling environment.
