"Not much really. No halloween since we don’t have sidewalks so that to me is something we don’t love. But neighbors are so so nice! "

"Southdowns is an incredible neighborhood - the only one in Baton Rouge that has its own Mardi Gras Parade! Beautiful oak trees, quiet streets, lovely church nearby. Plenty of nice people around jogging and walking their dogs. "

"This home is located in the most desirable part of Baton Rouge, LSU lakes are accessible by foot as well as the many shops, eateries and the like located near the Perkins Road area. "

"This area is one of my favorites in Baton Rouge. It's one of the only neighborhoods in the city where dining, shopping, night life and recreation are within walking distance. The LSU Lakes are the epicenter of physical activity in Baton Rouge. Furthermore, this trendy neighborhood has proven to hold it's value and is a great place where families, retirees and young professionals all live together in a park-like setting. It's also minutes from the LSU campus, on the St. Patricks Day and other parade routes. Can't say enough positive things about this area."
