Baton Rouge Berean is an excellent Adventist Christian school in Southwest Region Conference. The Berean Church made a huge investment in upgrading their campus facility to provide a positive learning environment for school age Children. No school is perfect anywhere, but everybody must pull together to create a healthy learning environment. Teachers cannot shoulder all the responsibility even in a Christian school. It takes a city to raise a Child. Home, School, and Church must work together in a collaborative way to insure that our Children our successful. Most public Schools discourage prayer, and teach evolution. Most public schools do not encourage Christian principles such as abstinence. Those who attend private schools traditionally do much better on standardized tests, and they are far more committed to Christian values. The Berean School is committed to these principles even though Berean can't do it alone.
