"There are a TON of big dogs in this neighborhood. So depending on your family and pet situation this may or may not be the neighborhood for you. I know my smaller dog has a hard time and gets nervous with all the big, barking dogs nearby."

"My neighborhood has great access to public transportation. I choose not to use it, because I need my car for work related outings during the work day. "

"This is a very quiet location, like a park inside the city. Close to everything but secluded. It is still not pretentious. Magnificent views of the river. Having a car is important. The seclusion implies that one needs to exit the community to get a bus, but it is still close to the airport and very close to Notre Dame. The architecture is solid and can accept improvements well. Management services are very good and attentive. Someone should suggest opening a mini-mart and coffee shop in the clubhouse."

"I've been in the North Shore Triangle neighborhood for 8 yrs. Close to everything I need. Within easy walking/biking of "Hail Mary Prairie" (Notre Dame, Saint Mary's College, Holy Cross College). Less than mile to downtown South Bend's bars, coffee houses, banks, restaurants, galleries, live theatres and museums...HELLO! Our neighborhood has excellent e-communication and community events; people care for one another (and each others pets). The beautifully paved East Bank Trail is several miles long & goes right by our year-round Farmer's Market, along the St. Joe River, downtown, and I.U. South Bend. It truly is a community within a city."
