Silverdale

I am quite surprised with the low rate this school was given because I have had a wonderful experience with them. My child was behind from the previous teaching establishment he went to and was on the verge of being left back a grade. The principal at Rockport said that he and the staff would work with him... and they did! And they did a great job; he loves school and is at the top of his class. His teacher is always challenging him to think and he has never complained, but bragged about what he has learned. Plus, the school has an online service that lets me see everything my son does in school, usually before he brings the paperwork back home. And in one phrase to describe his teacher - "heaven sent".

We love the positive atmosphere at St Bernard School! The teachers and students adopt an attitude of respect for others that really shows. Small class sizes allow for individual attention, and my daughter can learn at her pace, with her teacher collaborating with the teacher from the next grade up to give her more challenging work. I love that the older students are involved in helping the younger students with reading. There is a very collaborative spirit about St. Bernard School. I also love the religious education and the fact that God is in everything they do.
