"Not sure. I have cats. I see people walking them. Not any dog parks in this area and smaller yard sizes "

"We love our historic Indy neighborhood. It’s walking distance to the children’s museum and has a great mix of long term residents and young families. "

"Sidewalks on every street and plenty of friendly neighbors around. It’s a great area to have a dog in. Plus there are some houses with larger lots in this area which is great if you have a dog. "

"easy access to downtown, easy access to red line. Interstates are a little more out of reach. Good hub to binford and the northern shopping districts "

"I feel we are centrally located, easily get around by driving, riding a bus...there are several different bus routes for our area. We have lived here 30 yrs., 2020. It's a great area but i'm ready to downsize. "

"People are rude when they park in front of your home they throw their trash. Smoke and drink, then get mad at you for not wanting them to do it. I cannot wait to move from this area."

"crime and violence and drugs. this area is deplorable and no matter how kind you are, you will be taken advantage of. I was assaulted while walking my service dog and my dog was kicked. "

"I would suggest that anyone that moves in this area keep an eye on your children at all times, it's very busy in this area with the traffic. I also would look into better school's. "

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am very pleased with the Educations my child is receiving at PLA 48! Not only are scholars provided a rigorous education the expectation of success is also present. The staff at PLA 48 are caring and are willing to address any concerns. My scholar is in Kindergarten and started later in the year after arriving from Nigeria!. I must say her teacher went above and beyond to welcome her. She was so excited to share that her teacher had shown Akili and me a very popular preschool program in Nigeria. Thank you PLA 48 for welcoming myself and my daughter into your family.Parent Review5y ago20 Reviews - IPS/Butler University Laboratory School 60

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a current 8th Grade student in this school, I love it. The style of schooling might not be for everyone but I really enjoy it. I've been here since kindergarten and loved everything from elementary to middle school. I'm mostly leaving this review as I've noticed some very negative reviews from years back when middle school was just developing. Now though the middle school is great with tons of amazing teachers. This school isn't for everybody but I would definitely recommend at least checking it out.Student Review3y ago13 Reviews - St. Richard's Episcopal School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are so thankful for St. Richard's Episcopal School and the experience it has provided our family. The sense of community is exceptional, the education is thoughtful and rigorous, and the extracurricular opportunities are enriching and well-rounded. Above all, our children are happy, engaged, and excited to learn. It is a true joy to send them to a place that nurtures both their hearts and minds.Parent Review3mo ago50 Reviews - St. Joan of Arc Catholic School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFive stars would be perfect. I don't think there's a perfect school out there but SJOA is very close. With a remarkable group of leaders, teachers and staff who are ALL IN on our kids and their well-being, I feel extremely fortunate to have found this educational home for our children. Academic, social and spiritual growth occurs in a welcoming and inclusive environment which I don't think can be said of all schools in the area.Parent Review4y ago8 Reviews
