If you are black please keep your children out of this school. Save yourself the trouble and enroll them in a school where they will treated equally.Parent Review7y ago3 Reviews - St. Mary Catholic Community School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI also know about the bullying, and NOTHING IS DONE. I was told that my kids response was bullying when he told the others he would get them in trouble. BUT IF YOU READ AND UNDERSTAND ABOUT BULLYING, THIS RESPONSE IS NOT AGGRESSIVE ITS A MECHANISM OF TRYING TO STOP THE BULLYING. This has been going on since my child has been there. e more but you get my point.Parent Review1y ago57 Reviews - Trinity Lutheran School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a student at Trinity Lutheran from preschool through eighth grade. The education aspect was alright. I was above grade average every year in reading and math. I just found it to be obviously very biased. When I got to Public High school, I was behind in science due to Trinity hiding evolutionary viewpoints. I feel that children should be shown multiple viewpoints rather than just the Christian ones. There were many issues with Trinity while I was a student, so I will mention a few of them. A peer in my confirmation class was ridiculed for being gay and the pastor suggested conversion therapy to her parents. (She's still gay today (obviously), and killing it <3). One time a teacher recorded the class on her IPad when she left the room to "check the volume" of the class but it was straight up a videotape on her desk... which does not even measure volume... When she watched the video back she discovered that seventh graders were discussing "inappropriate" things. Wow, what a shock! Middle-Schoolers not being a spitting image of Christ! How terrible! She then tried to pick out the voices in the video and punished random students whom she thought were speaking. Me being one of them. Maybe if we were taught about sex education and the real world we wouldn't have to joke about it when our teacher left the classroom.. Along with that, we were taught ZERO sexual education. I understand that Christians believe in saving themselves for marriage but that is extremely unrealistic and many people are sexually assaulted. We were told to "submit to our husbands" without even having sex education... ... .. We were taught anti-abortion rhetoric even though we were literally 12 years old and had no idea what women go through. A called and ordained minister was fired because of "budgeting issues" even though the congregation voted against it. I guess people are only "called by God" when the money is being managed properly. When I took religion class in eighth grade and we were supposed to learn about the other religions outside of Christianity, the Islam week we were only taught about jihad. Disgusting. The list goes on and on. Needless to say, I do not recommend sending your children to a private school PERIOD let alone Trinity. Most private schools have these issues and brainwash kids because they don't know of anything regarding the outside world. If you want your kid to question religion and be agnostic as an adult, send them to Trinity Lutheran.Other Review4y ago9 Reviews - Pathway Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe preschool is decent with good Christian Education. The elementary part of the school leaves much to be desired. The teachers are not receptive to parents input and parents being an equal partner in the child's education. There is an attitude toward parents-as if parents are below them and their opinion matters little, and they have no business treating parents like this because there is only one teacher in this school that is actually 'qualified'. Some of the teachers leave children unsupervised while they are chit-chatting in the hallway in the morning which is unsafe and disrespectful to both parents and children. The principal is a nice person, but has no training in education. You will get a small teacher to student ratio here and you will be fine if your child is the 'model' child.Parent Review15y ago2 Reviews - Children First Learning Center Inc.
