My experience at this school was fair. Leadership does not appear to support volunteers in the classroom. Leadership failed to follow-up multiple times when I left my phone number asking to visit the classroom.

Unity Lutheran Christian Elementary School is a beacon of hope for children living in an impoverished community. Caring teachers impose high expectations for students. The challenging curriculum provides opportunities for academic challenge and success. Most importantly, children attending this school learn about Jesus and His love for them. You won't find a better place for children in East St Louis.
