"People are walking dogs in the trails in Green Trails all the time. It’s nice to see. Often stop and chat when passing by. As in most parks or trails areas like this there are people who don’t pick up after their dogs but most do."

"Maybe they wouldn’t like there’s no sidewalks but we have lots of trails to walk on. In winter it’s a bit more difficult to walk your dog as at times you may be limited to walk on the street. We all get by and love the area for us and our dogs."

"There aren’t many subdivisions like Green Trails. Lots of old trees, diverse homes, and miles of trails running throughout the community. Great place to raise a family and feel comfortable having your kids experience childhood like you remember it. "

"Having lived in a few places in the world, this has to be the most safe, quiet, walk/bike/run friendly, child accomodating areas. The trails around the neighborhood go for miles with lakes and other features that only add to the experience. Public transport (bus) to the Lisle station is appropriate and useful / economic. Schools are excellent - public school system is of a high quality and they really care about a child's development."

"Green Trails Subdivision was designed and developed for comfortable suburban living. My wife and I have lived in Green Trails since 1982, raising our two kids here, and moved within the subdivision once. We enjoy the walking trails, parks, tennis courts, proximity to shopping and the outstanding school district."

"This town is a great place to live if you want all the qualities of a west suburban town but without the high taxes. Schools are great, leisure opportunites are all here, and a lot of the great downtown restaurants have locations within 5-8 miles. For commuters that want easy access, you can't beat this town - 3 great train stations with express trains witin 6 miles! You want to take a class? Got a great university that offers bachelors and grad classes. Want a safe place for kids? This town is small enough to almost be Mayberry and the police are on top of things. Are you concerned about fire protection? This town is the ONLY protection class 1 (the best) town in Illinois! With all of this, competitve pricing, good selection of homes, and taxes that make the rest of the county mad, why look anywhere else? There are never a lot of homes for sale, and the time on the market dropped 35% last month alone! Get busy and find a home while you still have a selection for 2012 and good luck."
