I have had 2 children go to Horizon and my overall experience has not been great, I am not sure why there is a problem with kindergarten, but there is and it may be that these teachers just do not have the pacience needed to deal with children this age because I had 2 children, in kindergarten here 2 different years and 2 different teachers with similar rough kindergarten years. With my first, her experience did improve after this year and I am hoping with my 2nd this will also be the case. On a positive note the office staff, principal and a aide have been helpful.

Firs year, and it has been a great experience. If things don't work out this coming year at this school, I will be looking forward to enroll my kiddo back to Canyonside CS.

My son got beaten up by two older kids because a teacher chose not to separate the kids and instead walk away to do other things. Once I confronted the problem the teachers and principal took it out on my children and took it upon themselves to talk badly about me to my children. They teach at below public school grade level and are not a supportive school for kids who want to advance. Overall in my opinion they are a disappointment as a whole. They get the one star because I can't put less.
