The school has an excellent art program supported by the PTSA, and the teachers and support staff are dedicated. I've been lucky to have my children in classes where the teachers had all been teaching over 20 years each, so they knew what they were doing and were also good at doing their job. The drawback is that the teachers do not have assistants, so one teacher is in charge of 22 children. Only sometimes are there assistants in the classroom, but these are for the special education children only. You should always supplement your child's education at home, and I've always done that part. My children are doing well at the school. I wish there were more parent volunteers, I see the same, small group of parents helping year after year.
