"It’s a new, clean development in a safe neighborhood. Several police officers live here in Ho’oluana subdivision. Kids play outside as when I was growing up. It’s only a couple miles from beaches, hiking, shopping, airport, municipal buildings, hospital, police department…the perfect location near all services. This community watches out for their neighbors to make sure it stays safe and clean. "

"this condo community is in a prime location and the new management has made this community beautiful! It is a Rare Find and is a wonderful place to live! The Amenities such as pool, spa, huge recreation room with a nice kitchen and beautiful dance floor for special events held here is marvelous! There is even a hobby room, woodshop room, movie room and shuffleboard. It is in Lihue, where your main shopping for things needed is located so you won't have to fight the traffic getting in and out of Lihue. In case of health emergencies, the biggest hospital on the island is right next door, which is a real bonus! We absolutely love it here and think it is a fantastic place to live! The new management is constantly keeping up this beautiful community!"

"Good! There is no traffic, takes me 10mins to get to work in the mornings. It’s about 5 minutes to the grocery store and other business and Shopping Mall. The schools from elementary, middle, High School are all in close proximity."
  • Shalongadick
"People at SV walk around like Zombies and they have nothing to do other than get in your business. The ambulance is here every day to cart the living away. The place hasn't been kept up in years and now they have construction crews working to catch up repairing things which can be quite noisy all day long. Their recreation center is for the old farts playing cards. Walmart is the only real store around and they run out of things all the time. The main road is under serious construction and is backed up most of the time. The Board of Directors at SV are a real joke and would rather "talk" about things in need, and then avoid the task(s) than get things done. The elevators should have been condemned years ago and now they want volunteers to help people on upper floors when they replace them for over 4 months. People are so old that they can't hold their bladder so they pee in the elevators and the elevators are carpeted and stink. The garbage goes through a metal shoot in the wall. That shoot dumps into a bin which is housed below the building. That's why these buildings are full of roaches. NO! With less than a 59% occupancy at SV, there's better places to live in Oahu and FREE isn't even worth it. If you buy or rent - you're simply asking for headache, after headache, after headache. We're over 60, we moved and so glad we did!"

It is close to Schools, major Shopping including Costco and Home Depot, Restaurants, Wilcox Hospital, Medical and Dental care, Parks, Fitness Centers, the Lihue Airport, Hotels and most importantly... fabulous BEACHES."
