"I work in the area instead of live so I wouldn’t know too much on the community events but would love to create more events for the community "

"Not bad w/ easy bus access. Once I get a car I’m sure the commute would be even easier. I’m only in this area for work "

"Not really sure about events. I don’t live here just visiting. But I do know here they have a lot of hole in the wall places that serve delicious food. And the most oldest and awesome cracked seed store ever."

"Older community. Many old homes, have been demolished and rebuilt by 2nd or 3rd generation home owners. Feels very safe"

"Farmers markets are very close in proximity and diamond head loop as well. Beaches are also a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk! "

"Great schools and playgrounds in this area. However, not enough sidewalks lot safe streets for walking, playing, or bike riding. "

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy little sister gets bullied and ignored everyday. She always says hi to everybody but most people ignore her. She has autism but hers is not as severe, the kids in this school are the worst and most entitled little brats I've seen and heard from, from my sister. This school needs to do better and address this problem and focus more on special needs kids. They need to teach these little brats not to think there so much better then a kid with Autism, the girls are the worse and they do way more awful stuff to her that she doesn't even want to talk about because she feels to ashamed because the other girls make her apologize for them making fun of my sister. The parenting thats going on in this school is really a reflection on how terrible they are as parents and human beings. Waialae needs to do better to look into these problemsOther Review1mo ago30 Reviews - King Liholiho Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve had a wonderful experience with this school. The teachers are caring, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s growth. The learning environment is engaging and well-balanced, with strong academics and plenty of opportunities for creativity and social development. My daughter loves going every day, and we’ve seen her confidence, curiosity, and skills flourish. Highly recommend!Parent Review10mo ago18 Reviews - St Patrick School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy student teaching was done at this wonderful school while my son attended. Had it not been for all the tools and teachings of St. Patrick's he wouldn't be successful today. I have tremendous respect for all the values instilled with the great academics. Teachers are the absolute best along with admin. Thank you so much, God Bless You!Parent Review7y ago8 Reviews - Kaimuki Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is exceptional. It goes beyond academics, focusing on character development with warmth and dedication. From the friendly morning greetings by the vice principal to the personalized attention, every aspect fosters a sense of belonging. Despite its size, the school's impact is profound. My children are thriving academically and growing into responsible individuals. Kaimuki Christian School's value lies in the quality of education and character molding.
