I went to this school during my freshman year due to moving states. Every single morning I would wake up crying because I had to go to this school. It is located in Milledgeville, where the population is mostly white, with a minor blacks. I come from a Turkish-muslim background. I experienced alot of bullying and discrimination from the students at the school. I had no friends and I had no motivation so my grades were low. My mom is a hijabi so every time she would come pick me up from the front office, people, mostly the staff, would stare at her and her outfits. I did not wanna tell the people or my teachers that I was Turkish or muslim when they asked. Because it got to the point where I was embarrassed of my ethnic background. I moved after my freshman year and now I have a 4.3 GPA. I regret going to this school and wish never went there because it affected my mental health and my academic performance. The school also does not offer any AP/IB classes and does not have alot of programs. Its mostly military based and the only class offered that stands out JROCT. I would get demerits most days which is negative behavior because I would forget my gloves or my hat that goes with my uniform at home, so they would make me stay after school and march for a specific amount of time, depending on how many demerits you get. Mine was usually an hour and a half. I do not recommend this school.
