I love this school! It is one of the last neighborhood schools in Macon. The teachers love the students... The administration loves the teachers, students and parents! What more could you ask for! Our input is constantly saught out. When I have a concern or a question... It is answered or handled immediately.

If your child has a disability, I do not recommend. They’re only rated well because of test scores but the teachers and staff are not qualified nor do they care for children who have disabilities. I thought I was the only one going through this until I’ve heard multiple horror stories and finally decided to just pull my child out. Don’t believe the hype. The kids are treated horribly and the staff don’t want to deal with anything that has a 504 or IEP attached to it.

So they removed my original review, my grandson was bullied and nothing was done to the other child. Don't send your children to this school. My daughter in law moved and now they are going to another school and that is how they finally got peace.

This is our first year and I am regretting placing my child here the further we go. We moved back to the area and placed our child here for 6th grade this year. Our child has been Abekka curriculum since K5 at another private school near Atlanta who excelled academically as the focus was a rigorous curriculum and making sure students mastered the material. We only selected TSA for 6th grade when we moved based upon being told (in email) they used Abeka curriculum also as this was my defining factor for selection (otherwise we would have continued to make the 1hr and 20min drive to the previous school in the area we relocated from). Needless to say, after starting we find out only certain teachers use Abeka fully. Some do not use at all. After questioning the Admissions on this, I was deferred to allow a teacher speak on this of which was all fluff (also in email for proof). The teacher made sure to let me know as a Private school THEY had the right to decide

There are many amazing teachers and staff at this school. Stratford offers so much for students. If you are not close to being Einstein though, you won't make it. The leaders do not have sympathy for students with learning disabilities. They are expected to perform the same as students with out them. Many teachers are supportive of students with learning deficicies but they can only help students so much, because the "leaders" still hold the same standards to the students with deficicies as smart students, plus they control the teachers. Not helping a student with a learning disability is discrimination. Only basic, surface accommodations does not cut it. It's ashame a Senior cannot graduate because of struggling in only one class because of a disability.......

My child has attended MGCS since the age of 3. The teachers and staff care greatly about their students success and are willing to go the extra mile. The students academics and behavior bar is set high and students are expected to excell! I love the diversity, small class sizes, Christian atmosphere, and affordable tuition! MGCS is a welcome alternative for all parents!
