5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school! It is one of the last neighborhood schools in Macon. The teachers love the students... The administration loves the teachers, students and parents! What more could you ask for! Our input is constantly saught out. When I have a concern or a question... It is answered or handled immediately.Parent Review11y ago8 Reviews - Union Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo they removed my original review, my grandson was bullied and nothing was done to the other child. Don't send your children to this school. My daughter in law moved and now they are going to another school and that is how they finally got peace.Parent Review2y ago1 Reviews - Vineville Academy

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am at the close of 9 years of being a Panda parent. 3 very different kids all went to Vineville K-5 nd each had a different wonderful experience. My oldest (male) excelled at visual art and was encouraged to pursue his talents. He was also in the gifted program and was really challenged to be organized and disciplined. Most years his teachers relished his "boy" behavoir and found creative ways to redirct him and use his mischeviousness as a teaching tool. My second (female) had real struggles in learning. She recieved individualized attention--long before she was on an IEP--and discipline was handled very fairly with her. My youngest (female) is the mean student in testing and simply thrived in everyway at Vineville. She made great friends, discovered talents in visual art and drama, and had teachers she adored and who adored her. I know no school is perfect and Vineville is not either but we had an incredible experience there for 9 years. I wish every school was Vineville.Parent Review6y ago12 Reviews - Rosa Taylor Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal is rude, standoffish & doesn’t engange with parents often. She’s always looking down at her phone or no where to be found. The assistant principal is more dependable and welcoming. My child was injured and we emailed the principal several times. A teacher informed us that she would give me or my husband a call. It’s been months. I talked to a young lady who’s son was hit on the head last year and she had to harrass the teachers to get an answer. The assistant principal called and just like her emails were ignored mine were too. Coming to school events aren’t worth it when you have to hear a principal that doesn’t seem delighted to be there herself. Rosa Taylor was different when my son who is now in highschool attended.Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews - Tattnall Square Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our first year and I am regretting placing my child here the further we go. We moved back to the area and placed our child here for 6th grade this year. Our child has been Abekka curriculum since K5 at another private school near Atlanta who excelled academically as the focus was a rigorous curriculum and making sure students mastered the material. We only selected TSA for 6th grade when we moved based upon being told (in email) they used Abeka curriculum also as this was my defining factor for selection (otherwise we would have continued to make the 1hr and 20min drive to the previous school in the area we relocated from). Needless to say, after starting we find out only certain teachers use Abeka fully. Some do not use at all. After questioning the Admissions on this, I was deferred to allow a teacher speak on this of which was all fluff (also in email for proof). The teacher made sure to let me know as a Private school THEY had the right to decideParent Review1y ago14 Reviews - Covenant Academy
