8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience at WES has been overwhelmingly positive! What stands out most about Winston is the amount of growth I have seen in my students. I mean, these teachers tracked down EXACTLY what my child was struggling with and we worked on that and then moved on when they finally got it! They're experts at figuring out what each of my children needs and finding the perfect way to help them learn and grow. We’ve seen HUGE improvements in their reading grades. They make sure the kids are challenged, but also always feel supported. Beyond academics, each of children can honestly say they know their teachers care about them. The school also has some very cool events for the whole family! The annual Spooky Literacy Night, for example, was a massive hit—it was wonderful to see the halls transformed into and all the teachers in costumes passing out candy, reading stories, and playing games. We also love the Spirit Day and Field Day events. They go all out and the kids LOVE them.Parent Review5mo ago11 Reviews - Dorsett Shoals Elementary School
