"Porchfest! Lots of 5ks go through here. Love seeing the kids walk to and from school. Jazz on the Lawn at Scout. Cinco de Mayo at Matador. Steinbeck’s hosts cookouts and bbqs. Mezcalitos is great too! And UJoint has bands occasionally. "

"I have lived here for 30+ years, and I have seen the evolution of the neighborhood first hand. Great amenities, very high walk score, and safe for kids and adults alike. Some of the people are very friendly, but others are the uptight and antisocial. There is definitely a very evident social barrier present. "
  • Mike S.
"The local eateries often have festivals and seasonal events. Art, wine tastings, bbq festivals, book festivals."
  • Mike S.
