Oak Grove

Oak Grove Elementary is beyond an exceptional school. The teachers are wonderful, engaged, and really care about the progress of the students. The parent volunteer community is strong and a powerful force behind the teachers and staff to add programs and events for the students. My kids have been at OGE for 5 years, and we have had a wonderful experience. I feel that OGE is giving my children a very strong educational foundation to build upon in the future.

Parent of a first grader here. We absolutely love Briarlake! I’ve been so impressed with the teachers, the administration, and the parent involvement at this school. My son is excited to go to school each day and is thriving both academically and socially. I feel so fortunate to have this as our neighborhood school.

Highly disappointed. I do not recommend this school. Academically, it has failed my child, who has actually regressed since enrolling. The staff is consistently unprofessional, dishonest, and unsupportive. There are no resources available to help families, and the overall attitude of the staff makes it a very welcoming environment. Save your time and look elsewhere.

Everything about HMES is amazing. The culture, the teachers, the welcoming PTO. Families are encouraged to be involved - want to observe? Do it. Want to come to lunch with your kid? Do it? Need some love and support from the principal? Done. I'm addition to great academics and specials, there are some really great after school clubs offered to further enrich STEAM offerings (sewing, chess, financial literacy, theater, etc). When we got into a school choice through a lottery we thought we'd always go to, we ended up declining because of how rewarding HMES became.
