The principal and staff here are in desperate need of professional skills in dealing with the parents and issues that arise. Mr. Wilder has a history of parent interactions that has led to unhappy experiences. He was very short tempered with me when I asked him to help with my special needs daughter getting access to scissors and cutting her hair repeatedly. The office staff is very rude and the teachers that I have worked with are very unenthusiastic about their job.

The teachers at the school are incredible. We love the smaller size, the charm of the grounds...it truly has a neighborhood feel. My daughter loves coming to school and is learning so much. Admin is consistent in dealing with behavior issues and is always looking for ways to keep the school innovative. We are so happy to be at Vaughan.

I had depression and anxiety. What help did I get from counselors? None. Living with this constantly frustrated me, and when I tried to tell them they either thought i was faking or that I was making excuses to leave school early. But I will say, the teachers here are AMAZING!! I just wish they had more advanced classes, since I remember being very bored in class, learning things I had already done so before.
