3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child absolutely loves attending this school. Since the new school has been built, I can definitely tell that the admins and staff truly care about their students. I've never seen my child so excited about coming to school every morning. Thank you.Parent Review4y ago5 Reviews - Terrace Manor Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is easily one of the worst school in Richmond County and there is not one person who cares to make it any better. The school's staff, the Board of Education, and the Richmond County Sheriff's Office all turn a blind eye to anything going on here. DO NOT ever enroll your child at this school. They'd be better off asking educational questions at the Shell station down the road.Parent Review9y ago3 Reviews - Hains Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn our family’s experience, A. Dorothy Haines (Augusta, GA) did not provide the structure or consistent support our child with special needs required. We observed staffing instability early in the school year, including periods where our child’s classroom did not appear to have a consistent, appropriately qualified lead teacher. When a qualified teacher did begin, that teacher was later no longer in the role, and the way the situation was handled did not give our family confidence in the school’s professionalism or stability. When we met with school staff to discuss accommodations and supports, we felt our concerns were dismissed rather than addressed with a clear plan. We also experienced a situation where allegations were made against our family that were later not substantiated, which added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time.Ultimately, we withdrew our child and will not return. PSA to parents of children with special needs: based on what we experienced, I would not enroll my child here again. I recommend choosing a school with proven special education structure, staffing stability, and consistent accommodations.Parent Review4mo ago4 Reviews - Diamond Lakes Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDiamond Lakes Elementary is a school with heart. The caring teachers, supportive environment, and emphasis on student recognition make it a positive place for children to grow. While there are challenges—particularly around academic performance and communication—the school shows real potential, and I believe with continued focus and parent involvement, it can improve further.Parent Review7mo ago6 Reviews
