This school has great teachers, amazing students and the heart to see everyone succeed. It had a horrid principal but luckily she was replaced. I have been both teacher and parent at this school and I loved the experience minus dealings with the principal and her staff she brought with her from her previous school.

Copeland has made a 180 since last year. The new Principle has done wonders for this school. My kids actually loved this year. The new teachers are great. One of my kids made the Gift program. Im so happy with this improvement. Way to Go new Principle Dr. Taylor!!!! You've really turned this school around. <3

My family moved from South Carolina where our child attended a STEM-curriculum charter school. She was doing OK-ish, there was a lot of teacher turnover and the special services process was very delayed. Our child struggled to read and as parents, we struggled with knowing what to do to help. Once at Barton Chapel we saw immediate improvement in reading ability and confidence! Special needs assessments were handled quickly and professionally. The administration and teachers have been great.

My child absolutely loves attending this school. Since the new school has been built, I can definitely tell that the admins and staff truly care about their students. I've never seen my child so excited about coming to school every morning. Thank you.

This is easily one of the worst school in Richmond County and there is not one person who cares to make it any better. The school's staff, the Board of Education, and the Richmond County Sheriff's Office all turn a blind eye to anything going on here. DO NOT ever enroll your child at this school. They'd be better off asking educational questions at the Shell station down the road.

I was told by the Special Education board that everyone wants to get into this school, but I was literally begging to get out. Front office staff is extremely rude and when I complained to the Principal, she did nothing and allowed the staff to be petty towards me. The kinder autism class is even worse. The teacher is passive aggressive towards the kiddos and has the paraprofessionals doing her work. I had to speak with paraprof every day during pickup to find out how my child was doing in class because the teacher wrote me generic daily reports. The only GOOD thing I can say about the school is they don't allow just anyone to get on campus, so children and staff are safe.
