"We’ve lived in the neighborhood for 5 years and love it. It is easy access to both 75 and 85 and shopping."

"10-15 min in any direction and I'm there, simply love this area. also as a photographer I really enjoy the works market and the new west side park. oh and the breweries are very close too. "
  • Nick D.
"The train is a nightmare around here running all day and all night long. It’s hard to get some peace and quiet. "
  • Michael W.
"Great schools and parks in the area. City leaving with many young professionals. Great neighborhood overall."
  • Michael W.
"There are many young professionals in this neighborhood. It is kid friendly but not a host of children around."
  • Morgannrice
"I have to drive unless I go to a restaurant nearby or the grocery store. I have to drive to work in midtown Atlanta. "

"Dogs are everywhere! We have a nice open space, good sidewalks, low traffic side streets, and access to several trails and paths."
  • Keneyana B.
"Underwood hills sits right outside of the city thus making it the perfect location for if you want easy access to the city life, but still like the peace and quiet of the suburbs. Where I live there are a bunch of little restaurants which are great to try and in walking distance."
  • Keneyana B.
"I think that dog owners would enjoy the fact that there are many dogs that live in the neighborhood and the complex's cater to these needs."
  • Keneyana B.
"Commute is fairly simple. Sometimes the traffic can add a little time coming and going from Collier and then again to and from on Howell Mill Road."
  • Keneyana B.
"It's a nice, diverse environment for you to raise your children."
  • Marie M.
"Underwood Hills is in the city but feels like it is nestled out of the way. Once you turn off Howell Mill it feels quieter and calmer. Everything you need is nearby and it is filled with young professionals and families."
  • Marie M.
"Underwood Hills is very dog friendly! Just be sure to carry your own doggy bags as there are not stations in the neighborhood as some other Atlanta neighborhoods have installed."
  • Marie M.
"The commute is very flexible. It is easy to access 75 if traffic is light, but also there are a lot of back ways and surface streets to get to and from the area and around Atlanta. I commute to morningside and have never had more than a 20 minute commute either way."
  • Marie M.
"From driving around, it seems like many families send their students to private school."
  • Stan M.
"We are located so close to major shopping centers and I-75, but nestled and hidden away. We have our own little park with playground, basketball, and tennis courts. We have a couple of nice little churches, and a strong community bond."
  • Stan M.
"A lot of roads to walk your dog. Also a nice little park for your dog to run around and play fetch with."
  • Stan M.
"It seems to be getting busier. A lot of people use our neighborhood as cut-thrus. They keep putting up apartments and gas stations which make traffic a bear now."
  • Stan M.
"The people that actually live here are very child friendly and love kids. Unfortunately, we do have some crime from the local Walmart to car break ins. There are also some music studios the tend to get written up in the police reports often."
  • abby w.
"Lots of families and children, everyone is very friendly."
  • abby w.
"Lots of dogs so they may bark a lot. Not a lot of sidewalks so that may be a problem if you're walking your dog. "
  • abby w.
"If you have kids they are sure to make friends"
  • Shory69x
"I have lived at Collier Flats for just about two years now and love it! The area is great, people are friendly, and there is tons to do."
