6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school may be fine for neurotypical students but if you have an ND kid, AVOID at all costs. They give mouth service to any accommodations asked for without really supporting your students, and punish your children for the smallest infractions without even bothering to find out if the children understood they were committing an infraction. They won't provide support unless you specifically ask for it, and you'd better know EXACTLY what you need to ask for or you won't get any help at all. Five years here and your children will hate school and believe that they are irredeemable troublemakers after being told how bad they are for five years.Parent Review7mo ago18 Reviews - Bascomb Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLow student support in all areas. Staff and faculty mixed between a couple who care and more that don't. Safety concerns on premises that are hidden from parents. If you're child needs classroom support- this is not the school. You may be lucky enough to get a good teacher who does their best despite admin providing no support. They're disorganized, don't follow through, allow unsafe teachers at the school and bullying. Most of the teachers seem to be unhappy and overwhelmed.Parent Review9mo ago13 Reviews - Park View Montessori

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI cannot say enough about Park View and the wonderful and amazing teachers and staff. One of my sons was having an extremely difficult time transitioning to pre-k. His teachers (even the teacher from his class that we moved him from) and staff listened to our concerns and were kind, empathetic and understanding to the difficulties he was having in school. They provided him with safe but strong boundaries to learn and grow. His teachers take the time to help him understand his mistakes and learn from them. I am in awe with the amazing things both my sons are learning, not only for their education but how to be kind human beings with empathy. I trust the talented educators here, and I was happy to be able to place my 3 month old son here too. AMAZING PLACE AND PEOPLE!!Parent Review2y ago12 Reviews - Clark Creek Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children spent three awful years here. They started in 3rd and 2nd grade and stayed on through 5th and 4th grade. Over the course of these three years, they were frequently bullied, physically injured, and had their lives threatened. My son came home with a huge knot on his head, and we ended up taking him to urgent care to check for a concussion. We contacted the school, and nothing was done. He was also repeatedly kicked in the privates by a group of girls. When I spoke with administration, I was told that the girls were just flirting with him and that they didn't mean any harm. They show favoritism towards certain kids and ignore others that don't fit the typical mold of the school. They treat parents the same way. My daughter spent three years in a once-a-week pull-out class with a teacher that called her by the incorrect name for the entirety of those years, despite my daughter telling her the correct name several times. They also fail to notify parents that the after-school program is monitored by teenagers. This is where my children experienced the worst bullying, both verbal and physical. They would come home complaining that they notified the "teachers" (aka teenagers) about things and were either ignored or laughed at. My children had such a terrible experience here that we have decided to pull them from public school altogether.Parent Review9mo ago49 Reviews
