"Quiet shaded street in front of beautiful church near Antique District. People walk their dogs often and the street is very clean as well as scenic. Old church is a nice touch. Original buildings. "

"Many dogs here so timing your walk can be tricky. Most are friendly. Careful on Flagler as cars think it’s the Grand Prix. "

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you are considering this school please think elsewhere. Bullying is a huge issue at this school, since the class sizes are so small it is very, very easy for the gang up mentality to single out one person and ostracize, isolate and bully them is very real. When your child goes to the bathroom to eat lunch and NO ONE notices that is a problem, when your child is alone at recess or break time and no one notices that a problem. You would think with promoting low class sizes and student to teacher ratios they would notice but they do not, or their value as Catholics the would notice they do not. They care zero about emotional support so much that it is reflected in their staff. One school counselor for the ENTIRE School from Pre k to through 8th grade think about that. To add insult to injury that counselor is married toa the Schools Phys ed teacher who was an alum and sadly since the parish patriarchy is so thick one of my childs bullies were were long family friends with him so the ability for objectivity was null. When your child is told my dad is a Private investigator we know everything about your family and my mom is a lawyer and we have Father to house for dinner who do you think they are going to believe, true story. They have ZERO control of the school electronics there is ZERO monitoring the bullying and hateful messages, pictures AND VIDEOS that were sent to my child's school email address from OUTSIDE non school related emails yahoo address Gmail addresses were just allowed to come through the school I pads Zero Safety protocols. Pulled my child and placed in a PBC Public school they are thriving however they were surprisingly BEHIND in Language arts, Math and Science and they were in Advanced classes at SJS and had to have private tutoring to get caught up for Public School. I truly thought putting my child in a faith based private school with lower class sizes would shield them from all of what we experienced and sadly no it didn't it was more concentrated but even worse allowed without intervention.Parent Review1mo ago36 Reviews
