Bellwood Estates

I currently have two children enrolled at this school and have two totally different experiences here. One of the teacher's is amazing. I have been able to connect with her whenever I need to and she keeps me in the loop with everything going on. The other teacher is very standoffish and always seems like it's an inconvenience to talk. Unfortunately for me, the standoffish teacher currently has the child I'm more concerned about (there are some behaviors that I'm trying to curb before they become a issue). My overall perception of the school is it is a good school with room for improvement. The principal and vice principal are kind and easy to talk to. The front office staff is wonderful and always eager to help. The security of the school could be better (students are able to wander around undetected before the first bell rings). Both children have maintained honor status throughout the school year and they are meeting (and in some areas exceeding) the state standards for their grade levels.I honestly wish my husband and I had the financial ability to send our children to a private school, however, I am satisfied with the children attending Astoria Park.

If I could rate it lower on the safety scale, I would literally give it zero stars. This school is a big disappointment. It does not protect it’s students. They do not report incidents. They only report when social workers need to get involved. I thought the teachers and staff were supposed to protect the students, but they’re not doing any of that. This is very disappointing 010. Definitely do not recommend.

They're were a few really good teachers there like Mrs. Wilkerson, Ms. Lindsey and a few others. The office staff was good, but other then that I have nothing good to say.

what i do NOT LIKE ABOUT THIS SCHOOL is there is this little girl named meria in 5th grade she really is a rude person she cusses at kids on the PHONE i hear her talking to my friend she was being rude to my kid don’t like it

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! My children come home with so many projects and happily exhausted :)

I love cornerstone and sadly will be leaving soon.I have made a bunch of great friends and had an amazing year.The teachers are so nice and helpful. I know everyone and I have bad anxiety and since its a very small school it has gotten better.This school is an 11 out of 10. love it
