9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfortunately, our experience at Chapel Trail Elementary was extremely disappointing and disheartening. As a parent of a child with special needs, I expected professionalism, inclusion, and collaboration — none of which we received. One of the most troubling issues was hearing a speech pathologist refer to children with special needs as “not normal kids.” That language alone speaks volumes about the lack of understanding and compassion toward students who learn differently. My son was frequently excluded from activities because he was seen as “different,” rather than being supported and included.Additionally, I received daily phone calls with various excuses asking me to pick up my son early. Instead of working with me to help him succeed, the approach felt dismissive and unaccommodating. The team was not collaborative in any way, nor did they demonstrate a genuine interest in helping my child thrive academically, socially, or emotionally. As a parent, it was heartbreaking to feel that my child was viewed as a problem rather than a student deserving support and dignity.I would strongly caution other parents of children with special needs to ask very direct questions about inclusion, staff training, and support before enrolling.Parent Review4mo ago22 Reviews - Silver Palms Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am very disappointed with my experience at Silver Palms Elementary, particularly regarding how the school staff, especially the principal, handled a concerning situation involving my child. My child consistently expressed worry and distress about how he was being treated by another student, but unfortunately, nothing was done until I personally made a call and became involved. I found the aftercare staff to be quite rude and unhelpful, seeming unsure of how to appropriately handle certain situations. Because of these experiences, I decided to withdraw my child from the school. Since transferring to a new school, he has been much happier, his grades have improved, and he has made better friends. It is important for schools to prioritize the well-being and safety of their students, and I hope Silver Palms Elementary will reflect on these issues to improve their response and support for students in the future.Parent Review10mo ago22 Reviews - Panther Run Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSwitching from CTE to PRE has truly been a blessing for our family. Our experience with the CTE program was stressful and felt more like a nightmare than a special education support system. In contrast, the team at PRE has been absolutely wonderful. They are collaborative, communicative, and genuinely dedicated to each child’s growth. You can feel how much they care and how hard they work to create an environment where kids can thrive. We are so grateful for the difference they’ve made in our child’s happiness and development. Highly recommend!Parent Review5mo ago30 Reviews - Apple Tree Montessori School

My daughter was in a different school before and she cried every day upon drop off, since coming to ATM she goes in happy, loves her teacher and her friends and her school. She has learned so much! I love this school and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.Parent Review1mo ago33 Reviews - Cambridge Academy
