"Nice Dog park close by. There are lots of nice trails for walking dogs nearby. Also dog beach within 10 minutes. "

"It is a quiet neighborhood as in people don't argue loudly or have loud parties. You can frequently hear the train and emergency vehicles. People on my street are friendly and keep their lawns neat and tidy. People walk their dogs in the morning and evening, but since there are no sidewalks they have to walk them in the street. It is 1 mile from shopping, dentist, doctors and gyms. Schools are less than 10 minutes. It is 3 miles from the beach and nightlife. A lot of people ride bikes and adult trikes around the area, so a car isn't strictly necessary if you like to walk or bike."

"We liived there for 20 years. Very nice place. Folks walk thier dogs on leashes, folks ride bikes, walk and some runners. It's easy to figure how far you would want to walk as the perimeter of Oliver Estates is right at one mile. It is a very quite place, yet close to everything you might need. Home Depot, donut shop, banking and a package store are in walking distance. Publix and Walmart with in a mile. Hospital and other shopping with in 5 miles. Interstate 95 is approximately 1 mile away. There are many churches available. Downtown New Smyrna Beach has a quaint mix of antique shops, pharmacy, dining establishments, and other various shops and professional offices. The Indian River runs through the middle of town offering boating and fishing. The ocean is approx. 7 miles away. Daytona Beach is to the north and Cape Canaveral is to the south, Deland to the west. Oliver Estates is in the county but city utilities is available. Emergancy services are very good, and the school system is great. If we could we would move back to Oliver Estates, we liked it that much."
