Belle Meade

Manatee Elementary is a diverse school whose staff believes every child has genius. Every student has opportunities to hold a leadership role inside and outside the classroom. The school is very inclusive, giving all students options to grow and succeed. The environment of this school is up and beyond any school in the county showcasing student work and success. All staff and students feel like family. I highly recommend this school!

I'm not happy to have my child attending Parkside. It is a very stressful place for all the kids I know there. The principal scares them and all she cares about is the FCAT scores. They aren't allowed to be kids, be creative or have fun learning...my son says they aren't allowed to even have crayons in his class (2nd grade) because they take away from learning! All it is is drill, drill, drill. He won't be going there next year.
