"Great for older people. Not a place for kids. You’d be cruel to bring kids here. All at least 60+ at the least."

"Can be congested during work commute times, but aside from that, University Park is a well-maintained, safe area. Everything you need within a short drive (or walk). Super developed and great central location between Sarasota and Bradenton."

"Yes, people are always walking their dogs. Pets are welcome in this community. Mostly dogs and cats are what people have in their homes. I personally don't have any pets, but my neighbors have 2 dogs."
  • Glenn Burke

"There are seniors, who desire quiet! It’s a strictly residential area, everyone takes care of their property. The community property is well taken care of too."

"This gated community consists of 403 homes, two lovely pools, walking trail and numerous small ponds/lakes. The location coculdn't be better. Five minutes to numerus restaurants and shops with new mall opening in October 2014. Ten minute to Lakewood Ranch shops and 15-20 minutes to downtown Sarasota and 25 minutes to beaches and St. Armands. "

"Lovely, gated golf course community. Do not have to like golf to love living here. Convenient to everything--downtown Sarasota, beaches, museums, culture, sports, shopping and restaurants, airport, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Venice & Ft. Myers/Naples. The only new shopping mall in USA is being built nearby with many upscale stores coming 2014!"
