NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExtremely disappointing experience with this school from beginning to end.To start, they require children to undergo lead blood testing just to attend their summer camp, an unnecessary and intrusive requirement. More concerning, however, is their discriminatory treatment of children with disabilities. Both of my children were enrolled in the camp, but after I submitted one of their IEPs (at the school’s request), they revoked that child's admission within a few hours of me sending the report. This decision was made solely based on their IEP. I had mentioned that they were welcome to call his current teacher to gain more information in regard to how well he/she was doing, but they didn't want to hear it - full admission denial one month before the start of camp.I would not, under any circumstances, recommend this school.Parent Review10mo ago11 Reviews - Wilmington Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWCS is a gift for our family! The staff are welcoming and my son loves to go to school each day. He is challenged in a good way and has plenty of opportunity to experience more than just academics. He is making friends and learning about Jesus Christ!Parent Review6mo ago34 Reviews - St John The Beloved School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent of three Sanford lifers, I could not be happier with their experience and preparation for college and beyond. Not only were they well prepared academically, but they also entered college with the ability to self-advocate, collaborate in groups, and take on leadership roles. Every day when they stepped onto Sanford’s campus, I knew they were valued, trusted, respected, and cared for.The teachers give their all—every single day. Sanford is committed to educating the whole child in ways that ignite curiosity and a love of learning. It’s not a lecture-based curriculum; instead, students explore, collaborate, and apply what they’ve learned to real-life situations. The campus itself is absolutely beautiful, and Sanford’s no-cell-phone policy allows students to truly enjoy it while staying actively connected to their peers both in and out of the classroom. Now that my children are grown, they consider Sanford foundational in shaping who they are today.Parent Review7mo ago29 Reviews
